DTC500 Card Printer Models DTC500 Series Card Printers produce full-color cards utilizing FARGO's Direct-to-Card dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer technology. All DTC500 models provide exceptional print quality, high card durability, edge-to-edge printing, fast print speed, LCD display with user-friendly Softkey Control Pad, a high-speed Parallel port or high-speed Parallel and Serial port, and 8MB standard memory. Options include a built-in high/low-coercivity magnetic stripe encoder, smart card contact station, and embedded font/bar code support. All units have a universal 100-240 VAC power supply (Australian, U.K. or Euro cord sets and 100 VAC models are available — please specify with your order.). A USB interface cable for Windows 98 and Windows 2000 systems and an Ethernet interface adapter are also available. |

Dual-Hopper and Security Package Printer Models: DTC515 and DTC525 models feature a standard 200 card capacity, dual card hopper, for higher volume card applications or two different blank card stocks, and a Security Package which includes the SmartGuard/SmartShield Security Kit (available soon), and a Card Hopper Lock. |

Embedded Fonts and Barcodes
Option: This option provides select fonts and bar codes resident inside
the printer, allowing you to print resin black text and bar codes
directly from a mainframe system such as an AS400. Printers with this option include an RS-232 serial port. Order this
option by using the specialized part numbers listed after each printer

DTC500 Print Ribbons
| FARGO DTC Print Ribbons are specifically designed for creating durable,
24-bit color and gray scale images with extreme clarity and detail.
DTC dye-sublimation Ribbons utilize FARGO's exclusive RibbonTraq™ system for
maximum print quality, performance, reliability and ease of use. DTC resin ribbons feature RFID technology which
tells you how many prints remain on your print ribbon and if your
ribbon is running low. DTC
Print Ribbons are specially back-coated to extend printhead life and
are available in the versions listed below.
