Print wide labels at high resolution and high speed with the CL-612 industrial thermal transfer printer. The CL-612 prints a full 6.5" wide image at 300 dots per inch on labels up to 7" wide and at speeds to 8" per second. Print large format compliance labels, even those with high density bar codes, without rotating the images or slowing down the printer. 19 bar code symbologies and 13 text fonts are built-in to meet the requirements of a wide range of label printing applications
The CL-612 prints labels from as small as 0.78" tall and 1.96" wide to as large as 7" wide by 7" long. Up to 50" long with an optional PCMCIA Type II memory card. For even greater throughput, use the CL-612 to print small labels arranged as 2, 3, 4. or more across the web.
A 32-bit high speed RISC processor is at the heart of every CL-612. It also incorporates the exclusive SATO print head control circuit. This feature constantly monitors print head conditions and automatically adjusts print energy for optimum and consistent print quality.
While the CL-612 is a compact unit requiring minimal desktop space, it is designed for use in heavy duty industrial applications. It is built on a rigid chassis that is housed in a durable steel case to ensure consistent print quality and to protect it from the harsh environments found in manufacturing and warehouse facilities. This swing-open case and an unobstructed paper path make it fast and easy to load labels and ribbon. And it accommodates a full 8 inch roll of labels, keeping them clean too! To keep maintenance costs low, the CL-612's print head is user replaceable. No complicated adjustments or special tools are required. The CL-612's operator control panel includes a two-line LCD panel for convenience. Configuring the CL-612 is fast and simple thanks to a full array of secondary controls.
Serial and parallel interfaces are standard in the CL-612. Circuitry within the printer automatically switches to the one receiving data; no user configuration settings or host commands are necessary to select an interface. The CL-612 includes an separate connector for attaching external accessories or for synchronization with other labeling equipment.
